Biomes: A group of ecosystems that interact and are interdependent

Detritus: dead plant material (leaves, etc.), fecal wastes, and dead bodies  
Toxic substances: poisonous with health effects. 
Aqua life: plant or animal life using water as the primary habitat in its life cycle.
Contaminated water: water with chemicals or unsafe for human or aquatic life.
Use no less than 8 terms for each question and define each term. Terms are defined as words which are emphasized (bolded, etc.) in the textbook or lecture material. Terms and concepts must be bolded.
