For this assignment, you will create a pro-con grid on the topic you have selected as the subject for your research and writing projects this semester. You are to set up the grid in a T-chart or “box” grid format, listing “advantages” or “pro arguments” on one side and “disadvantages” or “con arguments” on the other side. Make sure both sides of the issue are equally explored and represented in your grid, and include a minimum of 8 arguments on each side of the issue (and each side of the grid)..
To ensure that your argument is balanced equally, make sure you list the same number of items on both sides, and that the arguments are equally weighted by theme. Use the attached document to help you determine how to classify an argument by theme: Make sure your arguments “line up” with one another; that is, use social arguments to answer social arguments, economic arguments to answer economic arguments, and so on.
