The Ohio Department of Education believes value-added analysis helps educators measure the impact schools and teachers have on students’ academic progress rates from year to year. Ohio selected a value-added measure that provides educators with information on how they can use data to focus instruction. Ohio selected its value-added model after thousands of the state’s educators used this analytical approach to see how students were progressing and which teaching methods were having the greatest impact.

(Note: you do not have to provide the school name and other identifiable information). As you complete the inventory, ensure that your responses reflect evidence-based practices and scholarly writing strategies. APA formatting is not required.
