UNCRC and child rights issues

Child health and wellbeing is the central focus of an international human rights treaty called the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).  ALL of the UN member countries have signed and implemented it except for one – the USA.   This is an important assignment so it is worth higher point value.

Countries that have integrated child rights into their laws, policies, infrastructures at the local, state and national levels have children that are healthier and happier and more successful.  Human rights treaties are fundamental to our mindset and how we treat others.  Look at the treaty and some sites talking about it.  Then write what you learned from EACH.
